So how is everyone doing ? This article is on Meditation Techniques. I haven’t been the best at regular posting – but hey I’ve been very busy

So here are some of the Meditation Techniques I use -

I have a routine – I wake up, shower, meditate - Before using: Radio, Computer, TV, Newspaper.because there is always some disaster and it’s normal to react - These all twist the 6th chakra closed,

I learned to footsoak when I meditate – so I usually footsoak in the morning as well.

I use the Meditation Techniques of Sahaja Yoga to raise the Kundalini.

Now – I check the state of my subtle system for blockages in the Chakras or Channels and clear them.

Stop Thinking. I like to feel it’s like 50/50 Divine raises the energy but we have to learn to watch our thoughts and not react when they come. (phone rings – you know it’s ringing period – don’t let yourself get into who is it? )

Once we have experienced thoughtless awareness we know if we are in meditation. Then we need to see am I meditating or am I just sitting here thinking.

Keep our attention above 7th Chakra. Then our attention is one with the Divine and above our thoughts. This also helps to draw the Kundalini up and out of the Sahasrara Chakra.

One trick you can try is – with eyes open, look at something (say a small picture on the wall) when we look at it we get thoughts of funny picture, nice frame…. these are all details. Now try to relax your eyes so you just see the wall and the picture is there but you don’t see anything in detail. This is relaxing the Agya Chakra or 6th Chakra – which is probably the hardest Chakra. This way when you have too many thoughts or are talking to someone with a twisted tight Agya (Accountants or people who read a lot) You will be able to keep your attention in Sahasrara. The Agya Chakra is totally connected with the eyes.

Watch the Candle Flame and relax your eyes like above.

Practise keeping your attention in Sahasrara during the day and it will become automatic and easy.

I hope some of these Meditation Techniques are helpfull.

Wishing you great Meditations and lots of Vibrations

Do You have any Meditation Techniques?

1. QUIT WORRYING:
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here to take all your burdens and carry them for you? Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little thing that comes your way?
2. PUT IT ON [...]

1. QUIT WORRYING:
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here to take all your burdens and carry them for you? Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little thing that comes your way?

2. PUT IT ON THE LIST:
Something needs done or taken care of. Put it on the list. No, not YOUR list. Put it on MY to-do-list. Let ME be the one to take care of the problem. I can’t help you until you turn it over to Me. And although My to-do-list is long, I am after all…God. I can take care of anything you put into My hands. In fact, if the truth were ever really known, I take care of a lot of things for you that you never even realize.

3. TRUST ME:
Once you’ve given your burdens to Me, quit trying to take them back. Trust in Me. Have the faith that I will take care of all your needs, your problems and your trials. Problems with the kids? Put them on My list. Problem with finances? Put it on My list. Problems with your emotional roller coaster? For My sake, put it on My list. I want to help you. All you have to do is ask.

4. LEAVE IT ALONE:
Don’t wake up one morning and say, “Well, I’m feeling much stronger now, I think I can handle it from here.” Why do you think you are feeling stronger now? It’s simple. You gave Me your burdens and I’m taking care of them. I also renew your strength and cover you in my peace. Don’t you know that if I give you these problems back, you will be right back where you started? Leave them with Me and forget about them. Just let Me do my job.

5. TALK TO ME:
I want you to forget a lot of things. Forget what was making you crazy. Forget the worry and the fretting because you know I’m in control. But there’s one thing I pray you never forget. Please, don’t forget to talk to Me – OFTEN! I love YOU! I want to hear your voice. I want you to include Me in on the things going on in your life. I want to hear you talk about your friends and family. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with Me. I want to be your dearest friend.

6. HAVE FAITH:
I see a lot of things from up here that you can’t see from where you are. Have faith in Me that I know what I’m doing. Trust Me; you wouldn’t want the view from My eyes. I will continue to care for you, watch over you, and meet your needs. You only have to trust Me. Although I have a much bigger task than you, it seems as if you have so much trouble just doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?

7. SHARE:
You were taught to share when you were only two years old. When did you forget? That rule still applies. Share with those who are less fortunate than you. Share your joy with those who need encouragement. Share your laughter with those who haven’t heard any in such a long time. Share your tears with those who have forgotten how to cry. Share your faith with those who have none.

8. BE PATIENT:
I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime you could have so many diverse experiences. You grow from a child to an adult, have children, change jobs many times, learn many trades, travel to so many places, meet thousands of people, and experience so much. How can you be so impatient then when it takes Me a little longer than you expect to handle something on My to-do-list? Trust in My timing, for My timing is perfect. Just because I created the entire universe in only six days, everyone thinks I should always rush, rush, rush.

9. BE KIND:
Be kind to others, for I love them just as much as I love you. They may not dress like you, or talk like you, or live the same way you do, but I still love you all. Please try to get along, for My sake. I created each of you different in some way. It would be too boring if you were all identical. Please, know I love each of your differences.

10. LOVE YOURSELF:
As much as I love you, how can you not love yourself ? You were created by me for one reason only — to be loved, and to love in return. I am a God of Love. Love Me. Love your neighbors. But also love yourself. It makes My heart ache when I see you so angry with yourself when things go wrong. You are very precious to me.
Don’t ever forget……

Annika

Anyone who meditates a couple of years knows: Tests are coming! Situations come up where you are going to get it from all sides. After you’ve diligently searched for a loophole, or a way to avoid the inevitable, you have to decide either to surrender or to stop meditating.

Anyone who meditates a couple of years knows: Tests are coming! Situations come up where you are going to get it from all sides. After you’ve diligently searched for a loophole, or a way to avoid the inevitable, you have to decide either to surrender or to stop meditating.

But here is news for you. The divine will ensure that everyone gets these tests; if you meditate or not you are going to get them. Some are easy others are not, the best ones are the ones who hit you where it really hurts. Of course this is totally individual. For one, it’s the (nonexistent) marriage or the (nonexistent) children, for another, it is the parents who are settling into a foreign country, or the pressure at work.

I always imagine, that there are test angels flying around like Cupid’s arrows, and hit accurately. And just like during a test at school, there are two options: either you succeed or you fail. Either you trust at some point the divine or you keep searching on and on make detours until you’re finally miles away from your Spirit. Coming back from there can be very difficult. Relying on the divine does not mean falling into passivity. It is rather an attitude. People are willing to accept God’s solutions (which may differ from their own ideas). Anyway, with our minds we can only understand a little part of our lives someone very different is able to see the big picture ….

My first big test was when I was 14 years old. I had to realize that I’m not going to be the worlds best table tennis player. Today I am grateful for that. I probably would have been so busy with all the fame and autograph sessions, that I wouldn’t have found time to practise Sahaja Yoga. As a result I couldn’t share my current knowledge with the world.

20 years ago I quit my job, gave up all my financial security, sold most of my belongings and bought a one way ticket to Bangkok. I was determent to find the truth and was totally convinced I can only find it in Asia. May be in some old monastery where they practice bhuddist meditation, or in some little village where they do pujas to several gods and goddesses.

Of course everyone thought I was nuts but I felt such a huge emptiness in myself that I decided not to care what others think. I stayed four months in Thailand and traveled from the South to the North always looking for the ‘truth’.

In the small village Mae Hong Song, up in the North of Thailand I met a girl who just came from a temple where she learned a kind of bhuddist meditation. She raved about it and I though ‘may be I should go too.’

Few weeks later I met the very same girl on a busy street downtown Bangkok where she told me again about this temple. What are the odds? I saw it as a sign, took a bus to Chiang Mai where the Buddhist monastery was and stayed 6 weeks to learn the bhuddist meditation called Vipassana.

I felt calm and happy, yes even proud of myself when I completed my ‘determination’, which was a continues non-stop-meditation for 3 days and nights without talking or sleeping. After I left the temple I saw the world differently but knew that I wasn’t ‘finished’ yet and it was too early to return home.

I practice my bhuddist meditation every day and asked Bhudda for guidance. While walking down a street in Chiang Mai I suddenly caught a glimpse of an advertisement from a travel agency. I turned and looked again, than I knew where to go next. Kathmandu, Nepal!

My plane left the next day. I took a taxi to Thamel, the tourist area and settled in a guest house. After having done a trip through the Himalyas I returned to Kathmandu and passed a little Austrian restaurant in the heart of Thamel. I couldn’t resist, after eating boiled eggs and boiled potatoes in the mountains for days, I would have done anything for mashed potatoes with sauerkraut and smoked pork chops.

What I found on the table in this restaurant changed my life forever. It was a brochure about Sahaja Yoga. Lisa the owner of that restaurant, started talking to me about it and I came to the class the following day. That was the end of all my worries, dissatisfaction, and restlessness. It was the beginning of a life which became so rich and valuable.

Well, we were travelling again to Italy to see Shri Mataji and at the Sahaja Yoga Seminar. This picture was taken at the Vatican in St. Peters Basillica, about 80 of us went for a tour of the Vatican Museum and we ended up in St.Peters

I was really amazed at the art and the size of the church – I never thought it would be sooo large.

We were there in Rome for a week during Christmas and the first 3 days seemed to be just clearing – I was feeling slight pain in my chakras but this went away after a couple days. There was roughly 3000 Yogis there, and we had the Russian Music Academy I think every morning for music therapy workshops, exercise & chakra workshops, vishuddi workshops… I was writing some music a lot of the time but after being with yogis for the week – on New Years Eve I was totally blissed out and the effects of that week lasted for at least a couple weeks.

Here in Canada there always seems to be something making it difficult to feel the vibrations nicely. So we have to work extra hard by footsoaking every day, meditating for 1/2 hour 1 or 2 times a day, saying some mantras and most importantly – be connected to a program where someone can help us learn to meditate - So! more people means more vibration!

So here we are in 2010

I have been to Rome during Christmas for a Sahaja Yoga Seminar and got to see Shri Mataji also!

Shri Mataji founded Sahaja Yoga in 1970 and she is totally amazing. I have been practising Sahaja Yoga for 14 years and I am still enjoying the methods of meditation and I am still learning all the time. there is quite a lot of things to learn but meditating can be quite simple if you are a simple person. Humility is a great asset. It has been my experience that I really don’t have that much control over if my meditations are good one day or the next. I sit down to meditate and am lucky that my Kundalini energy rises. mind you I do foot soak every day and do not leave the house till I have gone thoughtless for at least 10 minutes and it may take 10 to 20 minutes for the Kundalini to rise through all the chakras. So I definitly do work for it.

Back to Rome over Christmas - wow! it was amazing – first 3 days were painfull clearing out whatever, then just amazing meditations – we got to see Shri Mataji 4 times and the last was on New Years Eve for about 4 hours. Shri Mataji is the most advanced spiritual person – I think She got nominated for the Nobel Peace prize 2X. She looked in my direction New Years Eve for a couple seconds and I felt layers and layers of garbage just drop off from my chakras. I am still having good vibrations now in January.

Anyway – wishing you good vibrations and great meditations

Don’t just watch everyone having fun – dive right in – you won’t look back!
