So how is everyone doing ? This article is on Meditation Techniques. I haven’t been the best at regular posting – but hey I’ve been very busy

So here are some of the Meditation Techniques I use -

I have a routine – I wake up, shower, meditate - Before using: Radio, Computer, TV, Newspaper.because there is always some disaster and it’s normal to react - These all twist the 6th chakra closed,

I learned to footsoak when I meditate – so I usually footsoak in the morning as well.

I use the Meditation Techniques of Sahaja Yoga to raise the Kundalini.

Now – I check the state of my subtle system for blockages in the Chakras or Channels and clear them.

Stop Thinking. I like to feel it’s like 50/50 Divine raises the energy but we have to learn to watch our thoughts and not react when they come. (phone rings – you know it’s ringing period – don’t let yourself get into who is it? )

Once we have experienced thoughtless awareness we know if we are in meditation. Then we need to see am I meditating or am I just sitting here thinking.

Keep our attention above 7th Chakra. Then our attention is one with the Divine and above our thoughts. This also helps to draw the Kundalini up and out of the Sahasrara Chakra.

One trick you can try is – with eyes open, look at something (say a small picture on the wall) when we look at it we get thoughts of funny picture, nice frame…. these are all details. Now try to relax your eyes so you just see the wall and the picture is there but you don’t see anything in detail. This is relaxing the Agya Chakra or 6th Chakra – which is probably the hardest Chakra. This way when you have too many thoughts or are talking to someone with a twisted tight Agya (Accountants or people who read a lot) You will be able to keep your attention in Sahasrara. The Agya Chakra is totally connected with the eyes.

Watch the Candle Flame and relax your eyes like above.

Practise keeping your attention in Sahasrara during the day and it will become automatic and easy.

I hope some of these Meditation Techniques are helpfull.

Wishing you great Meditations and lots of Vibrations

Do You have any Meditation Techniques?

20 years ago I quit my job, gave up all my financial security, sold most of my belongings and bought a one way ticket to Bangkok. I was determent to find the truth and was totally convinced I can only find it in Asia. May be in some old monastery where they practice bhuddist meditation, or in some little village where they do pujas to several gods and goddesses.

Of course everyone thought I was nuts but I felt such a huge emptiness in myself that I decided not to care what others think. I stayed four months in Thailand and traveled from the South to the North always looking for the ‘truth’.

In the small village Mae Hong Song, up in the North of Thailand I met a girl who just came from a temple where she learned a kind of bhuddist meditation. She raved about it and I though ‘may be I should go too.’

Few weeks later I met the very same girl on a busy street downtown Bangkok where she told me again about this temple. What are the odds? I saw it as a sign, took a bus to Chiang Mai where the Buddhist monastery was and stayed 6 weeks to learn the bhuddist meditation called Vipassana.

I felt calm and happy, yes even proud of myself when I completed my ‘determination’, which was a continues non-stop-meditation for 3 days and nights without talking or sleeping. After I left the temple I saw the world differently but knew that I wasn’t ‘finished’ yet and it was too early to return home.

I practice my bhuddist meditation every day and asked Bhudda for guidance. While walking down a street in Chiang Mai I suddenly caught a glimpse of an advertisement from a travel agency. I turned and looked again, than I knew where to go next. Kathmandu, Nepal!

My plane left the next day. I took a taxi to Thamel, the tourist area and settled in a guest house. After having done a trip through the Himalyas I returned to Kathmandu and passed a little Austrian restaurant in the heart of Thamel. I couldn’t resist, after eating boiled eggs and boiled potatoes in the mountains for days, I would have done anything for mashed potatoes with sauerkraut and smoked pork chops.

What I found on the table in this restaurant changed my life forever. It was a brochure about Sahaja Yoga. Lisa the owner of that restaurant, started talking to me about it and I came to the class the following day. That was the end of all my worries, dissatisfaction, and restlessness. It was the beginning of a life which became so rich and valuable.

What is the difference between Meditation and Spiritual Meditation? Well, depends on what your looking for. Some people want to learn to meditate for the benefits of a more relaxed state, lower blood pressure … yes meditation can give you all that. You can go to the store these days and buy a meditation CD with relaxing music lie in your bed and drift away with the sounds of oceans and streams – very nice But if you want the real thing – it’s not like that at all.

It is a Divine System that has been practiced for thousands of years, handed down from the Gods to the ancient people of india and practiced in caves… Ok i’m goin off track really, it is Thousands of years old and and is a Spiritual Journey of knowing yourself. You need a support system which is going to give you the real Enlightenment or awakening of the Kundalini. You need a support system to teach you and guide you through a maze of wrong turns to keep you on the road of Self Realization. You need a support system for better Vibrations – the more people you meditate with the more Vibrations. The Kundalini Energy itself is a Spiritual Energy and it rises from your tailbone to the top of your head and you go into meditation – because of that energy. That Energy is our pure desire to be one with the Universe and it is a Spiritual Thing.

So Meditation is much, much more than a simple thing but if you want the big picture…. Some people are happy with one night a week and a little nice feeling. Take my advice when your ready, take the whole deal, dive into the ocean, there’s a whole universe of love waiiting for you! gP

I haven’t posted for a bit because I wanted to show some pictures form Italy. I was away at a Meditation Seminar in the mountains in a little village called Cabella – 2 hours from Milan in northern Italy. I have pictures but I’ve been having a hard time getting them into the computer. It was great, although there was alot of us from Canada that got sick. I just got sick when I came home (for 2 weeks) – Anyway I’m beter now

How’s Your Meditation? There was some days …. I could hardly Meditate

A really good thing to do is foot soak – that is – get a plastic dishpan with warm water and put a good handful of salt – put your feet in and meditate while sitting in a chair. Does wonders for your sleep. Also it clears the chalkras into the water. Be sure to throw the water into the toilet and wash your hands.

I’m off! gP

Learning Meditation is a piece of cake -

You just need the awakening then you need to meditate – there are lots of books but alot of that information is history because the old saints were in a different time than we are in now. Now it is a spiritual age and it is very easy to get your Enlightenment.

It used to be very Very very hard to awaken the Kundalini. Sahaja Yoga means – Spontanious Union or Enlightenment, now Our Enlightenment is kind of different as well – in that it is upside down from Budda’s Enlightenment.

Ours is the awakening and you need to meditate – for your Enlightenment and Meditations to grow - then you get purified. All though you do get the real Enlightenment - I promise you it is totally amazing!

In the old times and books people used to purify themselves and they got the full awakening – That is why I say it is upside down.

Don’t try to hard – just enjoy if it’s not working some days.

Just stick with it – stay on the same course and it will come. gP
